Myrtle Kilbourn – Obituary

Myrtle Kilbourn, 94,of Huntsville passed away at home on Tuesday. “ Nanny” as she was known by most and was loved by family and friends more than words can say. She was a bright light in all of our lives. She was such a caring person and concerned about others, never complaining about her problems and always putting everyone else first.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Dorwin “Lee” Kilbourn; sons and spouses, John and Debbie, Andy and Sue; grandchildren, Christa Kilbourn, Nikki and Dan Schwanke, Adam Kilbourn, Rachel and Jonathan Gardner, Kristin and Winston Hall, Dustin Norwood; great grandchildren, Belle and Abby Ivey, Emmy and Jase Schwanke, Sydney and Brynley Kilbourn, Walker Rushing and Kennedi Norwood.

She was a long time and oldest member of East Huntsville Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Friday, October 30th from Noon till 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by 2 p.m. chapel service, with Rev. Will Carter officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in her name.
