Funeral service for Myrtle Esther (Liles) Strunk, age 78 , of Decatur, will be Sunday, January 31 , 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel . The family will receive friends Saturday, January 30, 2016, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the chapel. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Strunk, who died Thursday, January 28 , 2016, at Huntsville Hospital, was born, July 1, 1937 , in Tennessee , to Fred and Lois Johnson Liles .
She is survived by, her husband Mavis Strunk, one son Dink Strunk (Bonnie) of Decatur, two grandchildren, Justin and Shannon, one sister Freddie Joe Gardener, of Tennessee and several nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
