Myra Jane Richards Moore – Obituary

Myra Jane Richards Moore, 64, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2014, after complications of acute illness. She was a native to Florence, Ala., attended Coffee High School, and had been residing in Franklin, Tenn. over the past 13 years. She had been in sales most of her career including Delta Automotive Parts. A memorial will be held at Royal Avenue Recreation Center in Florence, as a “Celebration of her Life” for all friends, relatives, and colleagues to visit, share memories, and have a communal meal on Sunday, March 9, 1:30-3:30 p.m., with the eulogy being at 2:30 p.m. Intermit will follow at Tri-CIties Memorial for relatives and close friends at 4 p.m.

She was the youngest of twelve siblings and was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Mitchell and Eddie Mae Richards, and her husband, Billy Jan Carmack. Survivors include siblings, Ruby Mae Pendergrass, Pauline Virginia Thomason, Barbara “Snookie” Moody, Harold David Richards, and Edna Faye Prince; children, Tonya Maloney Weisenseel, Douglas Guthrie, Robert Daniel Moore, and Rodney Keith Moore; and grandchildren, Madison Brooke Weisenseel and Madison Leigh Wimbs.
