Muscle Shoals Policeman allegedly shoots deer on Reservation

MUSCLE SHOALS – Officer Greg Scoggins is on administrative leave in the wake of his alleged shooting of a white tail deer on the TVA Reservation near 2nd Street. According to TVA spokesman Scott Brooks, the incident took place last Sunday morning. TVA did not identify Scoggins, however several other sources have confirmed his identity.

Scoggins is being investigated by The Alabama Department of Conservation Game and Fisheries Division. It has been alleged that he shot the animal with a rifle while on duty for the Police Department. No charges have been as yet filed. Scoggins could face felony charges.
