Murl Junior Bryant, 53, Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at UAB Hospital.
Mr. Bryant served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard for 27 years.
The visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with burial following at Franklin Memory Gardens.
He is survived by his children, Kayla Hill (Jonathan), Florence, and Justin Bryant, South Haven, Miss.; sisters, Brenda Bendall (Terry Sr.), Patsy Black (Johnny Sr.), and Rhonda Holley (Bobby); and nieces and nephews, Denisha Black, Bonita Gasque, Terry Bendall Jr., Johnny Black Jr., and Chad Holley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Murl and Betty Jean Bryant, and grandparents.
His pallbearers will be Donald Quade, Johnny Black Jr., Terry Bendall Jr., Chad Holley, Craig Stevenson, andWilliam (Buddy) Bryant. The honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Black Sr.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
