Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit Seizes 46.4g of Fentanyl in Home with Child

DECATUR-On March 4, 2025, as part of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of Fentanyl, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Sandlin Rd in Decatur.
During the search, agents located multiple baggies of a white substance that tested positive as Fentanyl as well as a large quantity of pills that also tested positive as Fentanyl. In total, 46.4 grams were located.
A child was also present in the home. DHR was contacted, and a safety plan was put in place before the child was placed with family.
Agents arrested:
Joshua Ethan Ledlow, 23 of Decatur, charged with:
▪️13A-12-231 Dangerous Drugs – Drug Trafficking Fentanyl
Bond $10,000.00
▪️26-15-3.2(a)(1) Chemical Endangerment of a Child
Bond $2,500.00
▪️13A-12-260 Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Bond $300.00
Caitlyn Faye Reedy, 23 of Decatur, charged with:
▪️13A-12-231 Dangerous Drugs – Drug Trafficking Fentanyl
Bond $10,000.00
▪️26-15-3.2(a)(1) Chemical Endangerment of a Child
Bond $2,500.00
▪️13A-12-260 Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Bond $300.00
Both subjects were transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail.
