DECATUR-Decatur Morgan County Tourism is thrilled to welcome the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Cheer Competition to Morgan County for the first time ever! This exciting event will bring top collegiate cheer teams to the Priceville Event Center for two days of high-energy performances and fierce competition.
The competition schedule is as follows:
- March 7 | Friday| 8:30 AM – Regular Season Competition
- March 8 | Saturday| 8:30 AM – Championship
Location: Priceville Event Center- 250 Marco Dr., Decatur, AL 35603
Spectators of all ages are encouraged to attend and support these talented athletes as they compete for the championship title.
- Any youth athlete (12 & under) gets in FREE if they wear their jersey!
- Athletes ages 13-18 get in FREE if they attend with their team and coach!
The 2024 SSAC Cheer Championship will feature talented teams from across the region, including:
- Brewton-Parker College
- Florida Memorial University
- Life University
- Loyola University
- Milligan University
- Point University
- University of Mobile
- UT Southern
- William Carey University
