Minnie Ruth Bracken, age 92 of Estill Springs, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems Skill Care. She was born in Franklin County on June 13, 1928 to the late Ottie Fox and Lillie Mae (Robertson) Blackburn. Before her retirement, she had been employed by AEDC and as a supervisor with Meals on Wheels. An industrious woman, Ruth enjoyed working in her yard, growing flowers, cooking, and canning. She will be remembered as a great mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Elmer Bracken. Ruth is survived by her loving children, Charles “Randy” (Carmen) Bracken of Webb City, Missouri, and Donna Bracken Stevens of Estill Springs; grandson, Adam (Stephanie) Bracken of Webb City, Missouri; and great-grandchildren, Ally Bracken, Cy Bracken, and Nathan Bracken. Visitation will be from 10-11 am on Friday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Todd Coutta officiating.
