Minnie May Buchanan, 95, of Savannah, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015, at Hardin Medical Center Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee.
Born Friday, February 20, 1920 in Ardmore, Alabama she was the daughter of the late Lummie Lee Coats and the late Pearlie Viola Baggett Coats. She was preceded in death by husband, George L. Buchanan and daughter, Bertha Boyd.
She was of the Baptist faith and loved flowers and looking at family pictures and cards.
Surviving are son, Heren Moyers of Saltillo, TN; daughters, Diane Crane of Jackson, TN; Faye Washington of Cleveland, MS; Elizabeth Collins of Hesperia, CA; Lemetrice Bays of Apple Valley, CA; 14 grandchildren, and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, Novemer 28, 2015 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with the Rev. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM up until time of service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
