Milton Sandy LeCory, 78 of Morgan City passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, October 28, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born August 19, 1947, in Guntersville the son of Hollis LeCroy and Euna Mae King LeCroy. He proudly serviced his country with honor and courage in the United Stated Marines on the front line in the Vietnam War. During his service he was honored with the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with a bronze star, Meritorious Unit Citation, Combat Action Ribbon, President Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal and the Rifle Expert Badge.
Sandy worked in the food industry for over 34 years and was a business owner. He had a very strong work ethic and loved to stay busy. He especially enjoyed the outdoors and farming. He was an avid collector of antiques and a devoted Alabama football fan. Known for his good sense of humor, Sandy brought laughter to those around him and loved sharing stories about his family. One of the greatest joys in life was his grandsons, supporting them in any way he could, especially sports activities.
He is survived by his daughter: Terri LeCroy Pritchett (Jeff); grandsons: Weston Pritchett and Colton Pritchett (Kelsey); stepsons: Chase Moore and Hunter Eddy (Rosie); step daughter in law: Chloe Eddy; step grandchildren: Elijah Eddy, Scarlett Eddy, Jameson Eddy and Olivia Moore; brothers: Tommy LeCroy (Patricia), Larry LeCroy, Jacky LeCroy and Eric LeCroy; sisters: Faye Ferguson, Cathy Dean, Rebecca LeCroy, Jessie LeCroy and Teresa Hughes (Derek); sister-in-law: Kim LeCroy; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Tracy Eddy LeCroy; parents: Hollis and Euna May LeCroy; stepson: Cole Eddy; brothers: Wade LeCroy, Tony LeCroy, Christopher LeCroy and Jimmy LeCroy.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel with Brother Frankie Flack officiating. The burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel.
Pallbearers: Weston Pritchett, Colton Pritchett, Don LeCroy, Ron LeCroy, Hunter Eddy and Jordan Flack.
