Milton “Ricky” Rivers, age 65, of Cherokee passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. There will be graveside service at Harris Chapel Cemetery on Thursday, May 27, at 3:30 p.m. with Derrick and Wade Wallace officiating.
Ricky was a native of Cherokee, Alabama and a retired member of Boilermakers Local 455 of Muscle Shoals. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, J. B. and Jewel Rivers.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Judy Rivers; children, James L. Rivers and Sara R. Isbell (Scott); brother, Dwight Rivers (Kathy), sisters, Donna Wallace (Curtis), Phyllis Minor, and Vicky Worsham (Mike); grandchildren, Mallie Morgan, Kyndall Morgan, and Ryder Isbell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Isbell, Ty Deaton, Tanner Johnson, Caleb Rivers, Hunter Rivers, and Christian McCauley. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Andrea Taylor and Monroe Ponder.
