Mildred Methel Jeffreys Hagood, 90, of Town Creek, Ala., died Thursday, July 25, 2013, at ECM Hospital, Florence, Ala. She was born in Lawrence County, Ala. on Dec. 19, 1922, and was employed by Encino Shirt Corp. as a seamstress.
She is survived by son, Colby Hagood and Anglia, Florence; sister, Glence Carpenter, Florence; host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, J.D. Hagood; father, Henry Jeffreys; mother, Alice Finney Jeffreys; three brothers.
She was a member of Okolona Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton. Services will be noon Saturday, July 27, 2013, at the funeral home chapel. Brother Terry Seller and Brother Scottie Brackin are officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Moulton Memory Garden, Moulton.
