Mildred Hill Patterson was born February 1, 1934 and passed away November 30, 2012 at the age of 78. She was a member of Millstone Mountain Freewill Baptist Church. She worked as a nurse for 23 years at Burdick West Hospital in Haleyville and was a member of the State LPN nurses chapter. Her vistation is Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home. She will lie in state Monday, December 3, 2012 from 2:00PM until 3:00PM at Millstone Mountain Freewill Baptist Church her service will be at 3:00 PM with Bro. Charles Yeilding and Bro. Mickey Crane officiating, burial followed in Millstone Mountain Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tig and Fronie Hill, brother, J.W. Hill, and sister, Doris Terry. She is survived by husband, Clyde James Patterson, sons, Clyde Anthony Patterson, Rickey Joe Patterson, and Gregory Patterson, daughters, Carmie Hyde, Melissa Hyde, and Cindy Presley, sister, Jerrie Ann Davis, brother, Bill “William Lee” Hill. She had 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, Tn 38105-3678
