Our loving mother, sister, and Granny Wahn was a precious soul with too many wonderful qualities to list. Her love for her family was extraordinary and we all have special things that we will always hold dear to us. She told us silly stories and always made sure our bellies were full. We loved how she made everyone’s favorite desserts at Christmas time. We laugh when we think of how she cleaned every day and how she is probably sweeping the streets of Heaven and loving every minute of it. She loved reading, cooking, cleaning, exercising, dancing, laughing, telling jokes, and Billy Ray Cyrus. All who ever met her one time never forgot her happy spirit. Her kind precious soul will be missed greatly here on Earth. Our hearts are saddened but until we see you again, as Granny always told us and now we want to tell her, “Always remember we love you.”
The family wishes to thank Hospice of the Shoals, Deb McCoy, Debbie Collum, Patsy Strickland, Becky Thompson, Debbie Wood, and Sandra Futrell for the excellent care and compassion shown to Lou during her time of illness. And a special thank you to Dr. Timothy Ashley.
