Michelle Leah Kelly, age 51 of Portland, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was born August 2, 1972 in Nashville, TN to James Albert and Barbara Jean Jones Whitaker. She worked as a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed helicopter rides, listening to soft rock and country music, visiting the beach and the mountains and was an avid reader. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons, Brody Walker, Dillon (Leah) Walker and Joshua Kelly, all of Portland, TN; daughter, Maggie Kelly, Bethpage, TN; significant other, Rick Kelly, Bethpage, TN; sisters, Cindy Tucker, White House, TN and Wanda Canter, Millersville, TN; grandchildren, Lexi, Frankie, Lailah, Jensen, Evelyn and Kayla. Funeral service is scheduled for 1pm Monday, January 8, 2024 in the chapel of Autin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Bro. Brent Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in First General Baptist Church Cemetery Russellville, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation is planned for Monday, January 8, 2024 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
