Michel Joe “Bo” Pickett, age 59 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on March 5, 1965. A hard worker, Bo was employed as a carpenter in the construction industry. In his spare time, he enjoyed horseback riding, boating, and playing cards. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially if they were sitting around an open fire enjoying good company. He was a wonderful storyteller and a jokester, who was always looking for a way to make people laugh. Bo’s friends and family will remember his easy-going personality and down to earth mentality. He was preceded in death by his father, Dannie Joe Pickett; sister, Sherry Vandiver; nephew, Jonathan May; grandparents, Clyde and Pauline Pickett, and Lewis and Thelma Morris. Bo is survived by his loving mother, Linda Pickett; sister, Terry Anderson; niece, Christy Sulouff; nephew, Nicholas (Gabby) Shelton; great-nephew, Zachary Sulouff; and great-niece, Belle Sulouff. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Nick Shelton, Zachary Sulouff, Jeremy Kinslow, Bryan Dodson, Keith Morris, and Rocky Morris serving as pallbearers. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 First Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398, (931)-967-2222
