Michael Roy Holland, 70, of Athens, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital.
Memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Cambridge United Methodist, 13980 Cambridge Lane, Athens 35613, with Rev. Ralph Johnson and Rev. Ginger Isom officiating.
Mr. Holland was born Aug. 28, 1945 in Nashville, Tennessee, to Alfred C. Holland and Judith Coffee Holland. He worked at TVA and performed nuclear contract work for 45 years. He was very active in Cambridge Methodist Church.
Mr. Holland is survived by his wife, Sandra Holland; one son, Aaron C. Holland; three daughters, Wendy L. Howell, Angela C. Davis and Mary L. Steelman; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, George Lester Holland of Memphis, Tennessee.
