Funeral services for Mr. Michael Preston Pruett, age 59, are scheduled for 1 PM, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with Bro. Jamie Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Mr. Pruett passed away early Tuesday at his home in Saltillo. He was born September 27, 1957 in Hardin County. He was a carpenter and farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Patricia Pruett; his son, Charles Pruett; and one brother, Paul Pruett (Becky). He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Paul Pruett and one sister, Nancy Roberts.
