Michael Lynn Thompson, 62, of Slidell, Louisiana, died Thursday, October 4, 2012. Visitation will be 12-1 p.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia with the service to follow in the funeral home chapel. Kevin Johnson will officiate with burial at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Mr. Thompson was born in Decatur, AL and graduated from Colbert County High School and Auburn University.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Thompson Gargis of Leighton;; sisters, Vickie Spangler of Decatur and Kathy Richards of Daphne; life partner, Tony Puglise of Slidell; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
