Michael James Riant, 52, of Florence, passed away June 1, 2019. He was the Logistics Manager at Jimmy Dean Foods, and a 1990 graduate of UNA. Michael enjoyed fishing, tennis, collecting baseball cards, and spending time with family.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Ann Dybzinski, and James and Anne Riant all of Cleveland, Ohio.
He is survived by his sons, Jacob and Conner Riant; parents, Barbara and James Riant; brother, James Riant and wife Lori; niece, Katelyn Riant; and nephew, Austin Riant.
The family extends special thanks to Dr. Ty Ashley, and to Alacare Hospice nurses: Suzanne O’Neal, Jawana Hayes, Julie West, Beth Butler, and others for their special love and care extended to Michael. Also, special thanks to friends and neighbors for their support and prayers during this difficult time.
In Michael’s memory, donations may be made to the Saint Joseph Church Building Fund.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
