Steven Paul Lanphere

Steven Paul Lanphere, 76, of Decatur, AL, born on December 4, 1948, passed away on April 13, 2025.

A Memorial service will begin at 11:00 am at First Bible Church with Pastor Steve Bateman officiating. There will be a reception to follow.

Steve is survived by his wife, Debbie Ryder Lanphere; sister, Cindy Lanphere; daughters, Liz Tompkins (Paul) and Courtney Evans (Dave); and grandchildren, Sam, Jake, Jackson and Jonah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Carol Lanphere; brother, Tim Lanphere and son, Gabriel Paul Lanphere.

Steve grew up in Monticello, MS. He retired from Bellsouth/EDS. Steve enjoyed playing golf and loved his family and his Lord – whom he is with today.
