Michael Harris, age 79 of Empire, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery. Scotty Harris will officiate.
Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his Father-Virgil Harris; Mother-Grace Harris; Brothers-Kenneth “Dude” Harris, Tom Harris, and Johnny Harris; Sisters-Betty Joe Handley and Glenda NeSmith.
He is survived by his Wife-Donna Savage Harris; Son-Christopher Harris (Teia Harris) and Patrick Harris (Jayna Harris); Grandchildren-Canon Harris, Sydney Harris, Marly Harris, Isabella Davis, Olivia Harris; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
Pallbearers will be Mark Harris, Larry Harris, Wayne Savage, Jamie Childers, Randy Harris, and Gary Handley.
