Michael George, 74, passed away October 11, 2025, at NMMC-Iuka. He was born in Cherokee to David Allen and Effie Minor George. Michael was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Cherokee, Alabama.
Survivors include his two sons, Michael and Christopher; four grandchildren, Madison, Landen, Tayden, and Nina; his sister, Marilyn (Glynn) Goss; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, David and Effie George; brothers, Mitchell and Larry; and sisters, Alice Wallace and Margaret Conley.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 pm. at First Pentecostal Church in Cherokee. The funeral service will immediately follow at the church with Fay Crowe, Joe Ball and David Conley officiating. Burial will take place in Barton Chemeter
