Michael Gene Bridwell Michael Gene Bridwell, 61, of Huntsville passed away Friday from Covid-19. Mike fought a hard battle with Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana but Huntsville was his home.

He retired from the space industry as an IT technician, spent his early years at Rockwell, and most of his career at United Space Alliance.

Mike loved golf, skiing, airplanes, Rock Steady Boxing, but most of all he loved his family. He loved with his whole heart and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Gwendolyn “Gwen” Bridwell; sister, Kendra Bridwell; children, Natasha Ayers (Richard), and Josh Morris (Jennifer); and two precious grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Nick Ayers and Allison Ayers. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Gene “Porter” Bridwell and mother, Saundra Lou Bridwell.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
