Michael G. Chapman, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL.
He is Survived by his wife, Tina, of Florence, AL.; daughter, Kayla Chapman, of Scottsboro, AL.; step-children, Deianira Padgett (Mike Smith) of Ardmore, AL, and Coe Gwathney (Jessica) of Hartselle, AL.; He is also survived by his grandson Joshua Chapman-Stuhr of Scottsboro, AL.; and several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Diane Gray (Randy) of New Market, AL.; and numerous extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ottis Glenn Chapman; mother, Loyce (Tommie) Chapman; his first wife Glenda Chapman; and several other family members.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home, Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Scottsboro Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Dustin Henshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Sisk Cemetery in Estillfork, AL.
In lieu of flowers donations in honor of Michael G. Chapman may be made to the American Cancer Society.
