Mr. Michael Black, age 60 of Athens, AL passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Black was born on July 10, 1959 to Charles Monroe Black and Dorothy Robinson Black.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sylvia Mitchell.
Mr. Black is survived by his son, Shane Black (Laura); grandsons, Landon and Logan Black; mother, Everne Black; sisters, Judy Hamilton and Linda Saunders (Jason); ex-wife and friend, Deborah Dollar and numerous other family and friends.
Services for Mr. Black will be at 3:00PM on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with David Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:45PM prior to the service.
