Michael Anthony Deala, age 57 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at his residence. He was born on January 12, 1965 in Davidson County to the late George and Dorothy Deala. Mike worked for many years as a maintenance man for Freeman and Webb. In his younger years he enjoyed racing at Highland Rim Speedway and racing jet skis. Mike enjoyed yard sales, collecting model cars, and taking his granddaughter to buy pop its on Saturday’s. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Randy Deala; sister, Deborah Deala; and grandson, Mikael West. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Kathy Lane Deala; daughters, Christina Anderson, and Kimberly (Jayme) Deala-Hamlin; grandchildren, Alee Anderson, Sean Hamlin, Corey Knight, Branden Hamlin, Murdoc Anderson, Rosie Hamiln and Cody Edmonds; great grandchildren, Khalesi Anderson, and Adelynne Edmonds; brother, Jay Deola; and many nieces and nephews.
