Merry Ann Camilli  Merry Ann Camilli, age 87, of Carleton, Michigan passed away peacefully December 31, 2021 in Athens, Alabama surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 7, 1934 in Decatur, Illinois to Clarence Sargent and Anna Mary White, Merry Ann was the loving wife of Alexander Augusto Camilli. Together, they raised five children: John William Camilli, Paul Dominic Camilli (wife Mary), Katherine Ann Jackson (husband Jeff), Michael Arthur Camilli, and Laura Lee Camilli.

Dearest grandmother to five grandchildren: Brandy Raines, Nicholas Camilli, Julie Jackson, Aimee Creeach, and Carl Widener; as well as six great grandchildren, Hannah Raines, Matthew Raines, Wyatt Camilli, Lucas Camilli, Julian Widener, and Ashlynn Creeach.

Merry Ann was preceded in death by her parents Clarence & Anna Mary, husband Alexander, children John & Michael, and granddaughter Julie.

In the early ’70s, Merry Ann served as a Welcome Wagon Hostess in Monroe County, Michigan until obtaining her Real Estate License in 1973. She loved selling real estate and continued in the field until retirement, after which volunteered for many organizations, with the most recent being the Limestone County court system and RSVP of Athens, Alabama.

Merry Ann had quite a sense of humor. One of her funniest sayings was, “My kids aren’t very smart but they’re good people.” Her family and friends will deeply miss her – and her jokes.

There will be no service at this time. Per Merry Ann’s wishes, she will be cremated, with her ashes returned to Michigan by family and later placed at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock, Michigan.
Pray for others: The greatest gift I can give another is the gift of my good thoughts and prayers. “God, bless my dear ones with love and peace. Teach them to live in harmony with each other and to promote universal harmony around the globe. “Bless all who need to be healed with the understanding that Your life is flowing within them. Strengthen them and renew them with Your energizing love. “Guide my dear ones to the right jobs, activities and opportunities for good. Prosper them and help them to be good stewards of the abundance they receive. “Above all, God, bless my dear ones with an understanding of Your loving presence in their lives.”

“Pray for one another” – James 5:16
