Melba Pendleton, 73, passed away April 23, 2015. Melba was a wonderful loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired from the Decatur City School system and served faithfully at Somerville Baptist Church.
Melba was born to Howard and Lucille Robbins, of Tuscumbia. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Pendleton; children, Vance Summers, Melanie Summers and Melissa Summers; two grandchildren, Trey Summers and Jackson Clarke; and also by her sister, Peggy McCarley.
Visitation will be held tonight, April 25, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
