Spidey is kind of a bull in a china shop but he is a really great boy!!  He has a lot of personality and is a big goofball. Spidey likes any and all toys and will parade around with them even if he doesn’t have an audience. This amazing boy has done really well with other dogs here and loves to play. Spidey is also really affectionate too!  We think he’s almost 2 and he’s about 65 lbs. The adoption fee is $85 and includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. Please call or come by Florence Lauderdale animal services 256-760-6676 to meet this all around amazing dog.

This boy is the star of the show!  He might seem sort of reserved at first but if you invite him to show affection he’ll shower you with kisses. Traylor has hypothyroidism and probably doesn’t feel so hot.  He’s started medication that should put him on track to having a happy, healthy life.  We’re hoping to find someone to be his co-pilot!  At the moment we don’t think he’ll ask for much other than bathroom breaks and food.  He’ll need to build his exercise tolerance and go for walks when not so hot out. He’s around 8 years old and 100 lbs and he’s the sweetest boy. The adoption fee is $85 and includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. Please call or come by Florence Lauderdale animal services 256-760-6676 to meet this  amazing dog.

This Cool Man loves kids! He Knows how to sit, lay and loves playing outside. This amazing dog also loves to be able to go inside and rest when needed. He isn’t great with other dogs and might work best as an only dog. The adoption fee is $25 which includes current vaccines, NexGard and wormer. You will receive a $15 voucher for rabies and $70 off of spay/neuter. For more information please contact Colbert County animal shelter at 256-381-4073.

This is Wilson and he needs a lot of help finding a home. Wilson is kind of a disaster in his kennel.  He isn’t ugly but he paces and bounces back and forth.  It’s pretty off putting.  He joined us at the beginning of April and no one ever asks about him.

Outside of his kennel though, Wilson is still a little anxious, but a lot awesome!  He was very friendly with his finders and is here, too! He’s done well with other dogs at the shelter and was found with another dog so may be used to living with a buddy.  He has not been especially jumpy or mouthy, he listens well and he can be very affectionate and full of kisses.

Sometimes really social, great dogs just can’t deal with being in a kennel.  We hope Wilson is one of those dogs.  He’s a little over a year and a little under 50 lbs and we hope you’ll give him a shot. The adoption fee is $85 and includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. Please call or come by Florence Lauderdale animal services 256-760-6676 to meet this beautiful dog

This beautiful princess loves attention and to be talked to. Whitley is good with other dogs although she would need to be feed separate. She is a little scared of new things and needs a calm environment to be in. Because she gets nervous it’s best for her to not be around smaller kids. Whitley needs the opportunity to be loved and shown she can trust people to love and care for her. She is a beautiful sweet tempered dog that you will fall in love with at first sight. Please come at meet her you will not be disappointed.
