Medicaid District Offices closed due to declared state of emergency

MONTGOMERY-Due to the State of Emergency, Governor Ivey has directed all State offices and buildings in the following counties be closed on Friday, January 10, 2025:  Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Colbert, Coosa, Cullman, DeKalb, Elmore, Etowah, Fayette, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Lee, Limestone, Macon, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston.  Medicaid offices in the counties listed are closed.

The following Medicaid district offices are closed on Friday, January 10, 2025:

  • Auburn
  • Birmingham
  • Decatur
  • Florence
  • Gadsden
  • Huntsville
  • Tuscaloosa

Medicaid recipients who need assistance may call the recipient call center at (800) 362-1504 (toll-free), Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
