Maurice Ray Webster, 83, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Maurice proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He owned and operated Maurice Webster Construction for 50 years, dedicating much of his life to the work he loved. He found great joy in excavating and took pride in the business he built over the years. Above all, Maurice cherished his family and the time spent with those he loved.
Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Sally Webster.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Glenda Webster; daughter, Tracy Runyans; sister, Glenda (Warren) Reed; grandson, Remington Runyans; granddaughter, Autumn (Joey) Richardson; great-grandson, Connor Richardson; special friends, Shannon and Lynn Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Burgette officiating. Burial will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens in Albertville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Remington Runyans, Shannon Johnson, Dwight Patterson, Danny Shell, Bill Runyans, and Randy Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Otinger and Mike Drain.
Adams Brown Service Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
