Mattie Bell Southwood, age 96 of Parrish, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Parrish Church of Christ. Funeral services will be Friday, September 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Parrish Church of Christ, with burial at Odom Memorial Cemetery. Joey Sparks will officiate.
Mrs. Southwood was preceded in death by her Husband-George W. Southwood; Mother-Elmer Brown; Father-Jim Mark Brown; Son-MacArthur (Tokey) Brown; Sister-Mary Ford; Brothers-Archie, Lee, Carroll, Herman, Mack, Paul, Woodrow and Baby Brown.
She is survived by her Daughters-Barbara Parker (Jimmy) and Shelby Blankenship; Daughter-in-law-Linda Brown; Sister-Juila Parker; Grandchildren-Tim Parker (Beth), Tammy Wyers (Greg), Linda Murphy (Darrell), Douglas Brown and Tabitha Blankenship; Great Grandchildren-Daniel Wyers (Megan), Alicea Wyers, Darius Williams, Brent Barton (Courtney), Michael Blankenship, Crystal Anderson and Leah Hensley; 15 Great-Great Grandchildren; A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Wyers, Greg Wyers, Tim Parker, Brent Barton, Michael Blankenship and Darius Williams.
