Mrs. Mattie Ann Walker, age 79, of Arab, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. Walker was born on September 7, 1939 to Cecil McGee King & Annie Mae Robinson King in Marshall County. She was married to the late Franklin D. Walker who passed in February 2014. She enjoyed thrift store shopping, state auctions and antiques. Mrs. Walker loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her sons, William Tony Walker & Cindy; Rodney Alan Walker & Samantha, Frankie Darren Walker; brothers & sister-in-laws, Donald King & Delinda, Ronald King & Vickie; sister, Faynell Wilbanks; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Cecil McGee King & Annie Mae Robinson King; husband, Franklin D. Walker; son, Terry Michael Walker; sister, Mary Patricia Bunch
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Donald King & Bro. Randy L. Blakely, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Greg Walker, Matthew Walker, Shannon Walker, Lynn Waldrop, Daniel Walker, Eric Walker, Ronnie Shumate, Nickie Walker; Honorary pallbearers, Dustin Morrow, Nathan Tidmore.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
