On Wednesday, November 21, 2018 Matthew Ross Mangina passed away at age 40. Matt was born on December 30, 1977 in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his degree in Health Services Administration from Auburn University and was employed as a Regional Director of Sales at Trident USA Health Services. Matt was a proud and loving father, avid sports fan, and a compassionate loyal friend to all. He was known for his quick wit and charming personality.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Bennie J. Mangina, Louis M. Jenkins, and Helyn Jenkins. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Stella and Polly Mangina along with their mother, Whitney Webb, of Florence, Alabama; parents Ross and Cathy Mangina; sister, Kim Gottier (Chad), brother, Jonathan Mangina; grandmother, Sara Vacarella Mangina; nieces, nephews, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church from 9 a.m.to 11 a followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. with burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
