Matthew Alan Reyer, 26 of Elkmont, passed away on Thursday, March 9th, 2023. Matthew was born on April 2nd, 1996, to Derrick Reyer and Lunetta Callahan Reyer
Matthew is survived by his parents, of Elkmont; brother Tommy Reyer (Ashley) of Trinity; grandmother Maurice Reyer of Athens; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Wayne Reyer, and Thomas and Linda Callahan.
Funeral services for Matthew will be Wednesday, March 15th, 2023, at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Daniel Tucker, Bob Watson, Cole Cook, and Luke Nicholson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, Match 14th, 2023 from 5:00-9:00pm at the funeral home. The burial will be at Meyers Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Haney, Drew Blakley, Camren Agee, Preston Rouse, Cole Cook, Hunter Brazeal, Ashton Gatlin, and Ty Phillips.
Matthew was a member of New Hope Church of Christ. He loved fishing and hunting and was a huge Auburn fan. He loved to play guitar, spend time with family and friends, and listen to country music.
