Conita Nell Henson Grigsby, 70 of Athens, passed away on Friday, March 10th, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. Grigsby was born on June 27th, 1952, to Herbert Henson and Eva Winchester Henson.
Mrs. Grigsby is survived by her husband of 43 years, Steve Grigsby of Athens, Al; brothers Rick Henson (Scarlot) of Athens, al, and Nickey Henson (Diane) of Red Bay, al; sister-in-law Joyce Henson of Red Bay, al; four nephews, three nieces, and several great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Donald Henson; nephew Anthony Henson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Grigsby will be Sunday, March 12th, 2023, at 3:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Rick Henson, Oscar Munoz, Jerry Curry, Garrett Henson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-3:00pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Grigsby loved helping others and enjoyed spending her time cooking and gardening. She Loved her Church family at Valley View Church of Christ.
In lieu of Flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the American Cancer Society, or Athens Bible School.
