Mrs. Mary Lois Lawhorn of Athens, Alabama formerly of Scottsboro passed away on Tuesday August 17, 2021 at the Limestone Health Facility in Athens, Alabama.
Mrs. Lawhorn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Phyllis and Denny Thornton, and son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Keren Holloway.
Granddaughter and grandson-in-law Taylor and Jamey Thomas. Great granddaughter Mae Thomas. And several nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and nephews. Mrs Lawhorn was preceded in death by her husband
William”Bill” Lawhorn and parents George Thomas and Anna Miller, Sr.
The family will receive friends on Friday August 20, 2021 at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, Alabama from 11 am until 1 pm. Graveside services will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery Scottsboro, Alabama.
