Mary Lois Holley George was born on July 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Eddie and Mabel Smith George. She was united in marriage to Clifford A. Holley, who preceded her in death. Later, on August 26, 1986, Mary married Fonnie George, who also preceded her in death. She departed this life on November 7, 2017, at the age of 87 years, 4 months, and 1 day.
Mary worked as a beautician for 30 years. She was of the Church of Christ belief. Mary enjoyed bowling, watching old western movies, and showing horses.
Mary is survived by her son, Clifford Gary Holley and wife Kim of Savannah, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Charolette Gail Gleaves; brothers, Austin George and Kenneth Lee George; and sisters, Mabel Louise Nixon and Gloria Jean Park.
