Mary Lois Canida, age 99, Haleyville, AL. passed away Saturday April 9, 2022. Lois worked for years in local Flower Shops, retiring from Dixie Flowers, and was a member of Waldrop Freewill Baptist Church.
Her visitation will be Wednesday April 13, 2022 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL., with her funeral at 2:00PM in the chapel, Bro. Jerry Boyles will officiate. Burial to follow in Littleville Cemetery.
Lois is survived by her Children, Jimmy (Pat) Riddle, Kathie (Benny) Fretwell and Mary Jane “Janey” Davis; brother, Earl Cavender; Grandchildren, Kevin Riddle, Joey Riddle, Danny Riddle, Julie Tate, Jamie Griffus, Tim Fretwell, Jeff Fretwell, Lisa Green, Jerime Frost and Joshua Frost. Great Grandchildren, Hannah Tate, Kenan Griffus, Zoe Griffus, Jordan Fretwell, Austin Fretwell, Chase Fretwell, Cade Fretwell, Chance Fretwell, Will Beckmann, Allison Beckmann, Alexis Frost Arnett, Jacob Frost, Amber Riddle and Jarrett Riddle; Great Great Grandchildren, Haley Spencer, Macie Spencer, Kenway Frost, Mylei Frost and Veronica Frost; a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margie Cavender; husband’s Tom Barker and Jess Canida; son’s, Joseph “Joby” Riddle and Frankie (Carol) Riddle and infant daughter; brothers and sisters, Jessie Mae Emerson, Beulah Wells, Dorothy Emerson, Faye Suitts, Hugh Cavender, Johnny Mac Cavender, Jack Cavender and Willard Cavender; grandson, Jason Frost.
