Funeral service for Mary Jo Pugh Kelley, age 68, of Athens, will be Saturday, June 3, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Chitwood officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 2, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Hartselle.
Mrs. Kelley, who died Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at her residence, was born December 9, 1948, in Winston County to the late J. W. Pugh and Verna Lee King Pugh.
She is survived by her loving husband, Pastor David Kelley of Athens; two sons, James Kelley (Jeanne) of Athens, and Ray Kelley (Judith) of Albertville; one daughter, Amy Fleming (Chad) of Decatur; one sister, Betty Turner (Jimmy) of Moulton; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
