Mary Helen Davis Spradling, 93, of Dora, passed away in the early hours of Friday July 3, 2020 at Ridgeview Health Care Center in Jasper.
Mrs. Spradling was a lifelong resident of Dora, AL. She graduated from Dora High School, She worked for Palmer Mercantile in the office and later worked as a Teller at Dora Banking and Trust. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She married John Henry Spradling, with whom she shared 62 years together. She had one child, Jo Helen, to whom she devoted her life.
Graveside service and interment will be Monday July 6, 2020 at 10:00 am at Shanghi Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her daughter, Jo Helen; parents, Thomas Nathaniel and Katie Ola Watts Davis; brothers, Thomas B., George, Jimmie Lee and William Ray ; and a sister, Kate Davis Park.
She is survived by five nieces, Diane Browning, Lori Wallace, Kelly Ferris, Katie Bright and Joy Reeves.
