Mary Ann Stacks, age 84 of Sumiton, passed away on Friday July 3, 2020 at her residence.
Mrs. Stacks worked for many years preparing taxes and was employed with H&R Block. She also served for many years as the Pianist and Organist at Argo First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2020 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Gary Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 10 am until service time.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles David Jackson and Richard Stacks; her son, David Wayne Jackson; her parents, Modie and Pauline Sanders; her grandmother, Ida Willingham; five brothers; one sister and her niece, Beth Ann Black.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Horn (Kerry); grandchildren, David Jackson (Bethany), Amy Henson, Meghan Rutledge (Danielle) and Tamara Rutledge; several great grandchildren; her sister, Wanda Edgil; many other relatives and a host of friends.
