Mary “Frankie” McCay age 63, of Arab passed away Monday July 14, 2025, at her residence. Frankie was born on June 25, 1962, in Tuscaloosa, AL the daughter of Walter Parr and Mary Gunter Parr. She was married to Charlie Byron McCay for 46 years before he passed away on August 25, 2023. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother in law, Phillip McCay and sister in law, Patricia Tidmore.
She is survived by her children: Kristy McCay (Bryan McDonald), Mandy McCay, Charles Ryan McCay(Katie Purreselly) and Tessa McCay (Timothy Hann); brother: William Parr (Melissa); sister: Lynne Brooks; brother in law: David McCay (Ronda); grandchildren: Katie (Brett) Scifert, Jaide (Koty) Hammonds, Stephen Hardin, Jathan McDonald, Kayleigh Queen, Layla Hann, Lola Hann, Trinidy and Kayleigh; great grandchildren: Brantley Scifert, Braelynn Scifert, Jackson Hammonds and Charleigh Hammonds; host of other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the family with cremation arrangements.
