Mary Frances Hice, age 90 of Tullahoma, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. She was born in Franklin County on January 18, 1935, to the late William H. and Dora Mae (Weddington) Sanders. A dedicated homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, making crafts, and crocheting, as well as tending to her animals. But most of all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family. She was a devoted member of New Center Grove Church of Christ. Her loving and kind nature will be missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, April Branch; grandson, Joseph Stafford; brothers, James Virgil Sanders Sr and Joseph LeeRoy Sanders; and son-in-law, Steve Branch. Mary Frances is survived by her loving husband of seventy-five years, Joseph Hice; children, Betty Jo Branch, Bobbie (James) Steverson, and Bonnie Sue (Jerry) Stafford; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Visitation will be from 12pm-2pm on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Short and Bro. Byron Lawrence officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Breastcancer.org or St Jude Children’s Hospital.
