We celebrate home today Mary Frances Dempsey of Huntsville, Alabama.
Frances passed away very peacefully in the warm comfort of her daughter’s home on the evening of February 19th 2024.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; two sons, Mark and David; and her sisters, Marcia Craig and Bessie Faye Compton; and her brothers, Raymond Williams and Charles Williams.
Frances was a lifelong lover of music and you would always hear her singing a hymn while she puttered around her too-warm home decorated in leopard print.
Frances is survived by her two daughters, Vanessa and Melissa; and her eight granddaughters, two grandsons, and a small army of great-grandchildren.
To celebrate her memory, go eat a bologna sandwich and put on your favorite gospel songs.
We are planning a celebration of life on a date to be determined.
