Mary Faye Hall Headrick – Obituary

Mary Faye Hall Headrick, 84, of Athens, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Headrick was born October 15, 1933 to Gardner Sewell Hall and Gartrell Sarah Mariah Mitchell Hall.

Services will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Scott Richardson, Tim Sutton, Joe Gregory and Phillip Owens officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valley View Church of Christ Cemetery.

Mrs. Headrick enjoyed playing the piano, loved raising children, being active in the church and showing acts of kindness for others. She was truly a Proverbs 31 woman. Serving God faithfully was her life. She was an encouragement to others around her. She enjoyed teaching music at Athens Bible School and faithfully supported her husband, Lynn Headrick, in the Lord’s work.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband of over 40 years, Lynn Douglas Headrick; son, Douglas Bruce Headrick; great-grandson, Matthew Douglas Gregory; grandson-in-law, Mario Gonzalez; granddaughter-in-law, Cindy White; sister-in-law, Charlotte Hall.

Survived by two daughters, Deana Headrick White of Dothan and Linda Headrick Gregory and husband, Joe of Florence; one son, Nicholas White of Athens; grandchildren, JoAnna Gregory Gonzalez, Kathie Gregory Miller and husband, David, Joseph Gregory, Jr. and wife, Jackie, Robin Gregory and wife, Valarie, Amy Sue Rolin and husband, Jason, Mark Anthony White, Jr. and wife, April, Eric Michael White and Patrick Dean White; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gardner Sewell Hall and wife, Caneta and Bill Hall; one sister, Lillian Hall Perkins and husband, Frank; numerous other family members.

Pallbearers will be Blake Clinard, Nicholas White, Joseph Gregory, Robin Gregory, Eric White and Christopher Clinard.
