Funeral service for Mary Ellen Parker, 72, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Cornerstone Revival Center, Pastor Greg Wilbanks, Assistant Pastor Jim Hampton officiating with interment in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1-2 on Sunday. Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Parker passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. She was born January 22, 1943 to parents, William and Wynell Giles. She was a member of Cornerstone Revival Center. Mary worked at Fairview Lunchroom and Fresh Value Groceries for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, J.L. Parker; a daughter, Kim Parker Weaver; a son, Jim (Beth) Parker; two grandsons, Jadon Anthony Parker and Carson James Parker; two sisters, Faye Broome, Berta Lockwood and a host of family and friends.
