Mary Edith Neikirk was born February 26, 1944 in Surgoinsville, Tennessee.  She met her “sweetie”, Mike, in Church Hill, Tennessee and they married on May 31, 1963 in Rogersville, Tennessee.  Soon after, they relocated to Huntsville, Alabama.   In 1965, Mary began working at Martin Industries and worked there until they closed in 2000.  She then started a second career working at SCI/Sanmina until her retirement in 2021.

Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Kim Neikirk;  Her grandsons, Jeremy Ewert (Sarah), and Daniel Neikirk, by her granddaughter, Anna Kitts (Tyler), and her great-grandson, Jackson Ewert who she lovingly referred to as her “little sunshine.”  She is also survived by her brother, Darryl Williams, and a whole host of nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Mike; by her parents, David & Maggie Williams; by her brothers: Don, Ralph, and Burl Williams; by her sister, Janice Williams.

Mary will be remembered for her outgoing personality, never meeting a stranger, and for being a blessing to others.   She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
