Private family services will be held for Mrs. Mary E. Oakley, age 89.
Mrs. Oakley was born on August 27, 1931 and she departed this life peacefully on July 21, 2021 at the Trenton Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Oakley was a longtime member of the Davidson Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and employed at Gibson General Hospital for 33 years until her retirement in 1994.
Mrs. Oakley loved her family, music, church, work, and her friends; and she was in 3 bands in her early years.
Mrs. Oakley is preceded in death by parents, Roy and Jessie Puckett; 3 sisters, Martha Hunt, Laverne Dunn, and Shirley Puckett; and a brother, Gerald Puckett.
Mrs. Oakley is survived by 2 sons, Doug Oakley and wife Linda, and Michael Oakley and wife Linda; 4 grandchildren, Melissa Carman and husband Michael Paul, Dana Hunt and husband Brett, Cindel Wyrick and husband Brandon, and Dylan Oakley and wife Rachel; and 6 great grandchildren, Macy, Maddie, Marlee, Mary Cameron, Hattie, and Hayes.
